Set the oven to mark 6 at 200 °C (180 °C fan). Use baking parchment to line a baking sheet. Kettles are filled and boiled. Pour the boiling water over the peas after placing them in a colander in the sink. Place aside.

Potatoes should be peeled and grated coarsely. Gather the edges of a clean tea towel and squeeze as much moisture as you can out of the shredded potato. Squeezed potatoes should be poured into a sizable bowl, and the rest of the ingredients should be combined with lots of seasoning. Place the mixture on the lined baking sheet and shape it into eight patties.
Step 3
Cook in the oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until golden and well done. With a green salad, serve.
