Homemade Blinis with smoked salmon

Ingredients

Plain flour

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 free range egg

1/2 cup of milk

2 tsp melted butter

3 oz smoked salmon

3 oz law fat cream cheese

1 tsp black pepper

How to make

Make a well in the center of a large mixing bowl after adding the flour, salt, and pepper.

Add the egg and begin whisking while gradually adding the milk until it is completely combined.

Then include the melted butter and give the mixture one last stir.

Spray some cooking oil in a big frying pan and heat it up. Since each blini requires a standard spoonful of batter, add around 5–6 blinis’ worth of batter at a time, giving plenty of room between each blini. Cooking will take about 20 seconds per side. When each side is a golden brown color, they are finished.

When the blinis are finished cooking, set them aside to cool before putting the toppings on them.

After that, when the blinis are completely cool, top each one with a dollop of cream cheese and a wafer of smoked salmon. Once all of the blinis are prepared, sprinkle some dill and freshly cracked black pepper on top of each before serving.
